1. Loss of capital
Digital-asset prices can change sharply, gap, or become unavailable. You can lose part or all of the capital allocated to a subscription. Historical prices, charts, fills, or AltPilot trading decisions do not predict future results.
2. Margin, futures and liquidation
Borrowing and leverage amplify both gains and losses. Maintenance margin, funding, interest, mark-price rules, and liquidation engines vary by product and exchange. A reserve floor or margin buffer can reduce exposure but cannot guarantee that liquidation, negative equity, or additional liability will not occur.
3. Account-result differences and correlation
One AltPilot trading decision can create orders across many eligible accounts. Each account may receive a different size, fill price, partial fill, rejection, or no order because balances, permissions, limits, timing, and product settings differ. Package diversification does not ensure profit and correlated markets may decline together.
4. Execution and protective-order risk
Market orders may experience slippage. Limit and stop orders may not fill. Take-profit and stop-loss requests can be rejected, delayed, triggered at an unfavorable price, or unavailable during a gap or venue incident. Synthetic sibling cancellation is not an exchange-guaranteed OCO unless the venue explicitly provides that guarantee. Cancellation may arrive after a fill.
5. Exchange and custody risk
AltPilot is non-custodial, but your funds remain exposed to the connected exchange’s custody, solvency, security, maintenance, rules, API behavior, and jurisdiction. A trade-only key prevents AltPilot withdrawals through that key; it does not protect funds from the exchange, your own exchange session, or another credential.
6. Technology and network risk
Internet, exchange, software, infrastructure, and blockchain failures can delay or prevent order placement, cancellation, account updates, or payment recognition. Security controls and recovery procedures reduce but do not eliminate these risks.
7. Pricing and billing risk
Invoices use realized P/L attribution and payment-price evidence described by the active plan. Exchange corrections, chain reorgs, stale or unavailable price sources, underpayment, confirmation delays, and token behavior can change when a payment or credit is recognized. Overdue invoices halt new positions but do not erase market risk in positions already open.
8. Security and credential risk
Compromise of your email, passkey device, exchange credential, browser session, or exchange account may permit unauthorized activity. Use withdrawal-disabled credentials restricted to the necessary products and trusted IPs, protect your email and devices, review account records, and revoke suspected credentials directly at the exchange.
9. Your responsibility
Only allocate capital you can afford to lose. Understand the selected spot, margin, or futures product; maintain additional exchange collateral; review package and plan terms; monitor orders and positions at the exchange; keep independent access to cancel or close positions; and seek qualified financial, legal, and tax advice for your circumstances. Do not use AltPilot if you do not understand or accept these risks.
